Deprecated Darkstar fourms

My friends and I are playing on the darkstar server. They all have the same issue. Can do no combat, the client crashes.

I stayed in game long enough to get this error

"can not use the . on Mog"
No experience gained.

Then it crashed.

Scratch that, whenever you engage a monster at all, it bugs out. I was stuck running in place.

Everything working fine except when myself (or anyone else who just installed for the first time) attacks a monster (since the update yesterday to FFXI I'm guessing has to do with SoA) the client crashes as soon as damage would be dealt.

Any thoughts? Everything else on my PC is working online. Tried it in safe mode with networking, changed the settings in POL itself, nada. Same error over and over.
