Deprecated Darkstar fourms

All is well, I got it up and running tonight.

I ended up turning on the Root Admin account in Windows 7 and running everything from that profile. Runs like a charm.

Now I'm just digging through the database figuring out where everything is.

OK, updates to my situation. :P I installed a trial copy of Windows Server 2008 R2, installed the DarkStar server, viola! Worked like a charm. I wonder what exactly was missing from my two times doing it on Windows 7... Unfortunately, I don't have a key for Server 2008, so now it's back to trying to...

Recently? I mean, I rebuilt yesterday... so... haha

Well, can't say I didn't try it! I rebuilt everything starting from reinstalling Win 7 and going all through the installation guide again. Still the same problem as above, getting that darn Visual C++ error. Again, tried re-importing database, setting zoneIP, and cleaning/rebuilding code. No luck, e...

I'm actually starting again from complete scratch, and I mean complete. Windows is currently re-installing and I will try building the server again from the ground up.
