That fixed the error issue, but now nothing is happening. I trigger the door, and it does absolutely nothing. No message, no error, no nothing. I made sure to add Zeid to the mobs and I added the battle to the bcnm folder.
I'm beginning to think this is all beyond me.

Re: Bastok Mission 9-2 Throne Room Issues
Damn, how did I miss that? Maybe I'm thinking too hard.
Anyway, thanks!

Bastok Mission 9-2 Throne Room Issues
Yeah, I'm back. I managed to script my way through the mission up until coming to the door in the Throne Room. It gives me the error message: [Error] luautils::OnTrigger: scripts/zones/Throne_Room/npcs/_4l1.lua:86: ')' expected near '=' I looked in the line it mentions, and I also checked the rest o...

Re: Bastok Mission 9-1
So do I put that in the script for qm2.lua, or do I just enter those values manually? I'm confused.

Re: Bastok Mission 9-1
And now I've run into a new problem. Now it's saying "mob <17645794> was not found" when I activate the ??? in Gustav Tunnel. I'm guessing that the mob ID for Gigaplasm is missing, but I wouldn't know how to fix that. Does anyone know what's going on here?

Re: Bastok Mission 9-1
Thank you for not ridiculing me for not seeing something obvious like that. I've said it at least a few times before, but this warrants another time: I'm a noob when it comes to scripting.
Thank you so much for the help!

Re: Bastok Mission 9-1
I tried your script, but it's not working. Alois doesn't react at all, and the map server keeps giving me this error: [Error] luautils::OnTrigger: scripts/zones/Metalworks/npcs/Alois.lua:34: ')' expected near 'then' I checked the script for errors, but I don't see any. Here's the script after it pat...

Re: Bastok Mission 9-1
This could take a while for me to figure out, but I think I'd rather do it myself and learn to script on my own. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
