XAMPP is a little overkill for just a database provider. Not to mention it actually uses mysql and heidisql for the gui last I knew, which are both available separately.

For those who don't know, XAMPP is a full web server distribution that includes a lot of things you don't need to just run DSP so this is more for people who want to build a full community around their servers.

DNS names work with the newest launcher so you could use a service like no-ip.com to allow for a continuously valid means of connecting.

*At best* it *might* be possible to allow logging into dsp using a modified router, but you would need a valid POL account to get into the game as writing a launcher that would run on an unmodded console simply isn't possible for us.

Yeah...the jail isn't that fancy. There is no corridor. Just a huge expanse of nothing outside the cell. One cell isn't even in visible distance of another and there are no windows or doors either.
