Multiple Players cannot enter BCNM
I just started playing around with this project again, you guys have made an amazing amount of progress since I last looked at it. I setup a server for some family/friends and I to play on. Server ZoneIP is set to my external address. Have 2 relatives connecting from the same house and another from ...

Re: FFXI-Boot Mod 3.1 Hairpin Question
Thanks for all the help Bluekirby0! Just a little more information for you, hope it helps. I replicated how you tested by setting up the server on the same machine I was using as the client. ZoneIP set to machines IP and hairpin used with 127.0.0.1. I was able to connect and zone without any issues....

Re: FFXI-Boot Mod 3.1 Hairpin Question
Thanks for the reply, I'm running the US version. I just setup FFXI on a second computer and got the same results. Follow the wiki to the letter: 1. Installed FFXI (All expansions including SoA) 2. Applied Update Patch 3. Created fake member account in POL and checked/downloaded files. 4. Moved data...

FFXI-Boot Mod 3.1 Hairpin Question
I'm using the latest FFXI-Boot with the hairpin option to connect to a local private server. ZoneIP on the server is set to my external address and all remote connections are working fine. When I attempt to login locally with the --hairpin option, I am able to login completely and move around the cu...

Enmity Question/Problem
While playing around on a vanilla server, current revision, I noticed that a small group of 75’s seem to hit the hate ceiling pretty easy. We had a paladin tank and once the ceiling was hit hate just jumped around not matter what the PLD did. DD’s were able to take hate by simply swinging, no WS’s o...

Question RE: Setting.lua
This might be the wrong forum and I apologize. Playing around with my brothers on a server setup primarily for low man. Are the setting in the spell specific group supposed to work? I noticed a couple seem to ignore what I have set, example ENHANCING_SONG_DURATION. Just an informational question. Th...

Re: rev 2837 +
Building manually worked without issue. I ran a quick test to see if I would have the same problem as OP with linkshells. When trying to create a new Linkshell I get the same message as OP. Game server output: [SQL] DB error - Incorrect string value: '\x95\x898[T\x05...' for column 'name' at row 1 H...

Re: rev 2837 +
I just did a fresh build in a different VM and noticed that the DSPServerUpdater is no longer building the game server .exe. Search and connect are built without issue.
Currently running on MySQL 5.6 and VS 2010 SP1.
Hopefully this isn't off topic from the OP.
