Re: Floating point exception on Linux in DSP-3588
It's not in 3587. I've been running that all day without a problem. I rolled back when I got the error.

Floating point exception on Linux in DSP-3588
I updated to 3588 this morning and rebuilt and reran all my servers. I loaded my character. The character showed up and I saw the Valkurm Dunes map, but there were no mobs on it and I had 0 HP. Then I noticed that I was being disconnected. I went into the screen where dsgame runs and I saw: michael@...

Have GM modes been suspended?
I followed the guide to make my character a GM. Actually, I made him an SE Producer. When I try to turn godmode on, not only does it not work, but I get a message in my dsgame window: [20:19:03][Warning] cmdhandler::call: Character Michael attempting to use higher permission command godmode The same...

Re: Need help figuring out my zoneip
Thank you. I added a bookmark to the website to my Dark Star Bookmark group. It came up with 3232235522 for my IP address. I have no idea how it came up with that, but I'll try it. That number does not work. What am I doing wrong? mysql> select zoneip from zone_settings; +------------+ | zoneip | +-...

Need help figuring out my zoneip
Hello. I used Darkstar a long time ago. I've updated my files, but the IP address of the PC the server is running on has changed. It was 192.168.2.2. It's now 192.168.0.2. I calculated the zoneip should be 43208, but the old zoneip was 0033728704 (which someone on this forum gave me.) I can connect ...

I can't get ffxi-boot!
I can't get ffxi-boot. When I click the link (http://www.filedropper.com/ffxi-boot) my browser takes me to www.filedropper.com and offers me a chance to upload a file. I really want the original ffxi-boot that reads the .ini file. I think I've got the original zip file somewhere. I'll go look for it...

Re: Misc. DB errors. Which files to re-input
The most prominent error above was the one about animationsub repeated over and over. I did a brief search for that table: michael@carter /home/work/dsp $ grep animationsub sql/* sql/mob_pools.sql: `animationsub` tinyint(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', sql/npc_list.sql: `animationsub` tinyint(3) unsigned N...
