sandy mission 2-3b (journey abroad; windurst->bastok)
worked on this mission: http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Journey_Abroad took the windurst -> bastok route. got all the cutscenes and events up to the BCNM at waughroon shrine. upon clicking the BCNM, it did nothing. i tried a few different times and even tried trading it items. it behaved as it nor...

Re: New client loader for test server
will keep an eye on cpu usage to see if it has the same mysterious heavy cpu usage after a certain amount of time that mxi/ffxiboot did (hopefully not). The CPU thing has been going on a lot longer than this project so I don't believe it's our clients that are directly causing it. not sure if we ar...

Re: [TOOL] Program to edit/create NPC, Quests, Vendors
not sure if you had plans to create your own model viewer, but itd likely be easier to leverage the existing one. heres a quick run down (select model viewer on the left side): http://www.grumpyrarab.ffximc.com/pages/site/homeframe.html also, that site goes over a bunch of other useful tools for dat...

Re: New client loader for test server
works like a charm so far. on win7 x64, ran into a problem when running ashita_boot.exe - it errored out saying that is was missing the file "msvcr100d.dll" - this is part of the visual c+ studio 2010 runtimes, and i reinstalled both x86 and x64 to be sure i had it. - it still gave the error, so sim...

Re: made the hut door working again on san d'oria mission 1-
cool, hopefully it can work its way into an official revision.hakusho wrote:Same problem here. I applied the fix posted in the first post and it worked like a charm.
were you able to continue on after the fix, or did you have to reset that mission/character?

Re: made the hut door working again on san d'oria mission 1-
bumping this thread to confirm that on a new character (about 2 weeks old) on DStest, rev 2013, this mission is still broken. the problem happens exactly as stated above. hut door -> BC fight -> get key item -> check door and nothing happens. the key item is definitely there. relogged with no differ...

Re: Quest: Moghouse Exit
I just find it weird that it still works for me, but seems broken for other people. I haven't updated my client to the live patch server since I started playing here though (a few months) It might be something to do with the updates they do? my char is about 2 weeks old (a little less) on the DStes...

Re: Launcher uses stupid amounts of CPU
here is a shot of the threads before the performance hit (fresh launch). all 3 mxi threads are visible, and are there from the start, contrary to my initial observation. you can clearly see, however, that the 2nd and 3rd thread are almost inactive. also of note, once that one thread begins to freak ...
