Re: Full server experience on Raspberry pi?
For a small footprint server maybe an Intel NUC would be a better choice given the requirements posted in the thread so far. Yeah, I've considered the options with the good feedback received on this, and, for now, it's not really worth invest on a dedicated machine. At least until the project is ab...

Re: connection to server (app keeps closing)
Version seems legit.
I can't verify atm, but can't not doing the part "Configure the ZoneIP for the Map Server" part or not updating after an IP change cause anything similar?

Re: connection to server (app keeps closing)
Better if you post your version of the game here, just to make sure you actually updated the thing. OS makes no difference, this game runs flawlessly in all current Windows editions. Had a friend that said it was (updated), but it turns out he was attempting to update POL and not FFXI. Mine's curren...

Re: Returning for the first time since git
Guess I'll give it a look again one of these days.
But more importantly, how exactly do I reach that data with the POLUtils app you guys keep mentioning?

The mobs you are looking for are found in Navicat. Chariotbuster would be found in mob_spawn_points.sql. However because he has unusual spawn conditions he has no pos x, pos y, pos z, or pos rot. Meaning he will not spawn. Following his groupid of 7767 to mob_groups.sql you will see his respawntime...

Re: Returning for the first time since git
I had no idea SE updated the spell cost recently either. But then its super easy to fix. I'll post a fixed file later with the new MP costs. Edit: Well, that was fast after all. It's the whole file, not a patch; but should be good enough. Any other spell categories had adjustments to the MP cost? An...

Re: Returning for the first time since git
Stone is also using 9MP instead of 4MP, Aero is using 18 instead of 16, Water is using 13 instead of 10, (haven't tried any other BLM spells) at least as a Red Mage.
Something's not right.
But I haven't updated since yesterday, maybe it was already fixed.

Think I'll do just that, if it takes to long, to figure out how to work with the place holders.
