Re: Having problems getting up and running

You need this for MSVCP140.dll: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... st.x86.exe

You need to update your client properly: https://wiki.dspt.info/index.php/Config ... our_Client

Check your client version with the server required version.

Re: Server with 99 cap?

If you're truely after SoA content, the best option would be shelling out $11.95 or whatever it is these days for the retail game. It's a small price to pay for functionality that you surely won't see for quite some time in dsp based servers.

Re: dyndns

You need to enter your actual ip address. That sounds like a rather troublesome connection to host a server on.

Re: Hardware Requirements

Nope, ffxi needs x86 architecture, and won't work on ARM based cpu's. That being said, there are cheap machines out there running quad core intel atom cpu's that will run it. I have two, a desktop and tablet base. While performance is not great, it is ok. Search for z8300 windows 10 on geekbuying.co...

Re: Wiki cleanup, aisle 7

The desire to make money. Spamming wiki's, forums, etc is effortless and free, and results in clicks to links, which generates money on their end. With scripts making the pages, they go up faster than staff can take them down, so it's real easy to keep the links up generating revenue from unsuspecti...

Re: Nobody cant join my server.

There's not enough information to make an accurate determination of where you went wrong. I'd reccomend joining irc on rizon @ #darkstarproject if you want it fixed quickly.

Re: Conquest/Outpost Guards Help

You would want to look at your npc_list table in sql, and compare yours to master, to see if there as an insert that shifted, which would alter appearance AND name. Appearance and name are tied together, if not i have no idea what you did, because models and names are dictated by the npcid, which is...

Re: Conquest/Outpost Guards Help

go to conquest.lua in scripts/globals, the npcid's are there. That will dictate which npc's are at the outposts. Starts at line 580 or so. If they're incorrect, the npc's will be wrong.
