Re: Change movement speed?

I'll vote for turning it off because the server is meant to be classic. Might as well go classic all the way.

If you decide to leave it the way it is until the monster wandering issues are fixed it won't bother me though.

Reraise scrolls are only 7 conquest points right now :D

A few other people are in their 40's, maybe we could try the level 55 limit break soon?

Re: Movement Speed?

The movement speed is for sure faster than it was on retail.

Some stuff can still catch you when you try to run though (like raptors and tigers)

I wouldn't mind if they turned off the increased movement speed, but it does make running through and testing quests a lot easier.

Re: New Server

I think if you are going to go full classic, keep it as full classic. That can be your selling point. I've played a bunch of the "classic" everquest emulators before and I can tell you first hand the amount of complaining people do when something isn't just right lol. I'm skeptical crafting will be ...

A few more for the list!! I hope this helps you guys out eventually when the project is farther along because I'm sure I would forget this if I didn't post the info as I found it ;p Quu Domi the Gallant is currently on a 17.6 minute respawn. Re: New Server

I'd think the best chance a fully classic server has of getting off the ground is to make a big push promoting once zilart is fully complete. Get that big spike of players and keep them. I've been holding off trying to get my friends or others to join until the project is a little further along but ...

Re: BST Pets Auto-engage is Incorrect

I don't think you have to hit first on a drg, I remember a few times on retail my first hit missing and my wyvern pulling hate and getting pwnt. Here is the pet page off FFXIclopedia dated Nov 2, 2007. I could look farther back but this is a pre-abyssea capture and that is my major concern. http://w...

BST Pets Auto-engage is Incorrect

The way bst pets are suppose to work are they remain idle until the beastmaster uses the pet command "Fight" to make the pet start combat. Currently a charmed bst pet (and possibly jug pets too) will automatically start fighting as soon as you start combat with a monster, also if a monster attacks y...
