Hey there guys,

I don't know if any of you remember me but I played on the original ifrit funserver a few years back, I was the guy who was creating a wikipedia page to showcase what worked and what didn't on the server. I was just curious if any of you could answer this question for me.

My question is, did you guys go through and delete all the old characters? I'm in the process of downloading and reinstalling FFXI so I could rejoin this server, and I was just wondering if I would need to restart again.

Posted in the wrong section. And we do not manage single server instances that others host. You will need to contact their server administration to find out if your account info is still there.

I apologise for posting in the wrong section, I only say the 'original' server because I heard it had been shut down and recently brought back.

The ifrit funserver was run by someone else. The official test server and classic servers are the only ones directly affiliated with the project.
