Connecting to Navicat 8

Hey guys. Sorry to bother you AGAIN.

So I have brought a vps host and currently installing the server onto it. I've come to a snag

I'm trying to make a connection with Navicat. But everytime I put the VPS ip address in I get this error "Host 'VALADILENE.shared-servers.com' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server"

am I doing something wrong?

Modify the allowed hosts for the SQL user you're connecting as to come from your IP. I think it defaults to "localhost", so that's why you're seeing that problem.

You need more general mysql help...You are better off looking up a guide or asking for help on a site dedicated to mysql.
