Server install issue

Well that's not the problem because I reinstalled it and made sure I followed every step and I still get the problem. As for the language issue, it should be fine because I've got the US release.

Since you've changed operating systems make sure you have a proper graphics card driver installed...the generic drivers windows tries to load often don't support hardware T&L which is a required feature for FFXI to run. Also wouldn't hurt to install the latest directx9 update (even though ffxi is a dx8 game functions get redirected through dx9 and then dx11 on windows 7).
