Re: Starting the Servers
Haha, well, the server starts. Great news! For cons, I still encounter a problem .. grrr. Ashita is on my other computer that runs Windows 7 I managed to know the local IP via my router that uses Debian, but despite this, Ashita refuses to connect. I tried an experiment. I do not know if it's a good idea. I installed Debian Wine to install the FFXI client and then install Ashita to try on the same local machine. But the ideal would be for just the server remains the server, rather than the server and the client runs at the same time on the same computer.
Re: Starting the Servers
If you can't connect, then it sounds entirely like a port forwarding issue or routing issue. Be sure that the ports for DSP are forwarded, as well as that you are using the proper IP address for your server. You will also need to use the hairpin fix if your server is setup to use the WAN IP and you want to use the LAN IP.Alexandre24 wrote:Haha, well, the server starts. Great news!
