Rest Regen
Hello, I setup a server, searched the forums and bugzilla for this but came up nil. My server seems to have no regen when resting and was wondering how i could check on this.
Re: Rest Regen
What is your server revision #?
Is your client up to date by updating through POL?
Did you install all expansions up to WotG?
Is C:\dsp folder up to most current revision?
Are you running dspGame-server.exe that was complied after updating to most recent revision? This exe is sometimes located in your win32\game-server\ directory.

Re: Rest Regen
-I have Revision 3261 i believe. (I wrote it in a notepad when i installed it)
-Yes, it is fully updated
-Noo.. ( I had retail DVD collection from like 2008..)
-Running it in Fedora.. I am not sure what the most current revision is at the moment, nor do i know how to check the one i have. This was a new install so 3261 is the baseline.
Perhaps the problem is with my client then, I know on the wiki it stated the client is recommended with the latest and greatest of all expansions.

Re: Rest Regen
I don't know anything about running this on Fedora.
Are your servers and FFXI client both running on the same computer with Fedora?
I would try installing expansions up to WotG, then delete 1 or 2 random files from FFXI's \ROM directory. This is done so when you update again through POL, Check Files will detect a 'problem' and fix the files and also update the FFXI client properly to SoA.

Re: Rest Regen
Sounds like something might be wrong with /scripts/globals/effects/healing.lua
