Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I have tried editing the database in mobs_groups respawntime table and i have tried editing the sql and reloaded it into the database but i seem to be doing something wrong.What im trying to do is reduce the spawn time of normal mobs by half.Im not building a server for the public just setting it up for my kids so they can play without having to worry about adult conversations.Any help will be appreciated.

Did you reload the game server after making the changes to the database? Those tables are only read on startup.

Yes i tried everything and still seeing no changes but its ok was just trying to keep them busy.
