[SERVER]
SERVIP = 127.0.0.1
AUTOLOGIN = 1
USERNAME = admin1
PASSWORD = admin1
[CLIENT]
LANGUAGE = 1
## VERSION can be NA,EU or JP. This needs to reflect the POL version you have installed.
VERSION = NA
X_RES = 1024
Y_RES = 768
this is my .ini folder that i use with the boot folder right is this a correct way of doing it still?

Well your SERVIP is set to 127.0.0.1 as if running off where the server is running, you have to change it to your external IP if running off your laptop and want to connect to your tower.

If you have used an external IP, but are trying to connect locally, you need to do the following:
If you need to be able to log into a public server hosted on your own computer or LAN, add the --hairpin option to the Boot Command!
