Character Creation issue

I create a character, and hit yes to register and play, and I get error 3101 - Transmission error with lobby server

one of your char tables has an entry for 21828 - leftover from something

Found it and fixed that, now I am stuck at a blank screen ***downloading data***

if your map server says nothing, your IPs in zone_settings are wrong
if your map server has some messages about packets (I forget the wording for some reason), just wait until your character times out and then try to log in again

Trying to attach a SS so i don't have to type everything but my zone IP sql is up to date, and I don't see any weird code (but honestly wouldn't know what is or isn't weird...)

yep, your IP address in your zone_settings table is most likely not pointing your client to your server

I changed it to the 127.0.0.1 like I was supposed to back during setup.

Figured it out! Somehow the port was wrong in the conf file.
