Can't get client to connect to server

So I have the client configured; however, it still isn't connecting to the server. It is showing it trying to connect, but it's stuck at that. The screen shot is basically what I'm getting

Is the server you're connecting to on the same machine as the client? Are you running the client as administrator?

The server isn't on the same machine and I am running the client on admin. I think I may be using he wrong boot file, I'm using ../ffxi-boot_mod pol.exe from when I installed Ashita

If you are using ffxi-boot_mod by itself you need to feed it command-line arguments for it to run. See the wiki section on it or the readme that comes with it for details.
