Deprecated Darkstar fourms

Ok guys if you've read my posts in other section you know I've been very busy indeed...

So I have my server on a pc, set up fine...

I also have the game connecting to it no problem. I've been doing work on the game files for my expansion ...

My friend has agreed to test my expansion for me so far but I need to know something...


So the FFXI version I have is from around May 2017, I'm Guessing there has been more updates since then but I've not updated mine because I've been working on the expansion.

Is there a way to copy my ffxi version to external HD and send to him so he has the same version ?

Not that we know of. We don't know how to work around the checksum for the client.

What if he updates the game, then overwrites all his directory with my files? Would that work?
