right in the wiki Error Code 3001: Your character is still logged in. Wait a 2-5 mins and try again. Your char has to time out.
Server spat our the error that you were logged in twice.
Re: LM Darkstar Project Server
Couldn't log in after creating a new character and still can't. Don't know why.
Re: LM Darkstar Project Server
A group of us are all having the same issue. We've created characters but can't go any further due to "Error code: FFXI-3001"
The common errors section says that error code 3001 means "Your character is still logged in. Wait a 2-5 mins and try again. Your char has to time out."
But none of us have been able to log into the game even once, any help is appreciated!

Re: LM Darkstar Project Server
It's not a server side issue so there is not really a whole lot I can do about it, I see all your login attempts I see the connection being closed by the client. If you google the 3001 error the main solution that comes up is to run a File Check on your install. And indeed when my friend had the issue we ended up just fresh installing the game and now it works fine.Drakon wrote:A group of us are all having the same issue. Basically your errors can be any number of things, but they are client side, this is the fun part about playing on private servers you have to learn to troubleshoot your client side issues, because really I can point you to the resources, (or you can refer to the wiki/ google the error codes.) but from my side the server is running and I am watching people log in and play right now without issues.
Re: LM Darkstar Project Server
Just want to say, I was logged in playing with a buddy for a good 5 hours last night, and there were a good 10-12 people that were all LV. 1 and sitting in starting locations in the cities. Assuming that all of them are people that are getting the "Still logged in" issue.
All in all, great server set up B :3
EDIT1: My friend and I previously played Nasomi, so we simply copied the IP address into Ashita for our Naso configurations and we were able to play just fine
EDIT2: Yagudo Persecutors in Tahrongi Canyon had Double Attack proc with 100% chance. Dunno if that's a bug or working as intended @. @:
EDIT3: Don't know if this helps or not, but my Ashita launcher applies the --hairpin line after the --server ip, would that fix/solve anything?
EDIT4: I'm seeing characters that have logged in, but the server isn't disconnecting them :<

Re: LM Darkstar Project Server
That really is odd, usually the 3001 error occurs it is on the first login but after that they are able to reconnect after the server verifies they are not there. In the server logs I see the connection, connection succeeded followed by connection closed by client. I am going to disable to connection server tonight and bring it back up and see if it kicks everyone and clears it up. As for the Persecutors, I'm running the latest version of DSP so if they have access to an ability they are not supposed to have that would likely be a bug I'll look into it.Pimu wrote:Just want to say, I was logged in playing with a buddy for a good 5 hours last night, and there were a good 10-12 people that were all LV. 1 and sitting in starting locations in the cities.
