I don't think any of the devs have enough retail experience with them to even think about adding Rune Fencer or Geomancer support at this time. There are bound to be a lot of mechanical "unknowns" that will take a while for the community to work out as well, and our policy is not to "guess" with mechanics unless there is a lot of data to back it up.

speak for yourself - i'm the kind of person who would figure out the mechanical unknowns :p

but i'm not going anywhere near soa jobs until the rest are done

I just logged on for the first time in about a year, but the server seems to have some instability issues. It seems like every other time I change zones I get disconnected, for instance. Is this an uncommon thing? I remember things flowing together much better last time I played, but I could be remembering wrong.

Yeah, it seems like it was a fluke. Everything got better later on.

is your client fully updated?
Accept Failed 10093

Client is out of date. Run POL and update.

Open your FFXI folder. Then go into ROM\0 An delete 0.dat Open POL Then open regular PlayOnline, on the left click 'Check Files' select FFXi from the list. (copied from wiki)

Might have to try a client update myself, because I can't create characters on this server, I automatically get a 3001 Error, but I can connect to other servers fine. Funny thing is I did update yesterday so not sure what's going on. Weirdness!

Actually getting a 3101 here. Transmission Error with Lobby Server.

No errors in Ashita Log.
