Connect server not working

I had everything set up and working on a local server, but was trying to open it up as a public server so a friend could play too and now the connect server loads then just dies. Tried rebuilding the server and still loads, then fails after about a minute. Anything I could try to get things working again? Also, any help getting the server up and running for people to join from outside my home network would be awesome as I can't figure it out.

It loads immediately with:

Not sure if this can help identify the problem. Thanks in advance for helping figure this out.

Ok, figured out the problem with the connect server, I had the IP wrong so now I can login locally, but still no dice getting it setup for other users to connect.
