can anyone help with my server setup

Post by p1r0 » Sun Dec 02, 2012 6:54 pm

ive been following the guide ( http://kile.dyndns.info:8765/index.php? ... the_Server ), I used the bat file method to import the DB, when i get to "Configure the ZoneIP for the Map Server", im using it on a local host so i used 127.0.0.1 for the IP, i opened Navicat clicked on the dspdb clicked on Query on the top bar right clicked and made a new Query, copied the txt from the guide made sure the ip was right ran the query and it did nothing.

Can anyone tell me where i went wrong, The only thing i have different than the guide is visual studio 2012 instead of 2010

Thanks

This might sound like a stupid question....but did you run the query after you made it?

The zoneIP in the default database is set for 127.0.0.1 already.

can you specify the problem in detail? Is it a problem building? I did had problem building back then with Microsoft Visual 2012 when it keep failing to build so I reverted back to 2010 and then I was able to build DSServer.exe and the rest.
