PlayOnline viewer problem?

Everytime I load up FFXI-Boot, I get sign in successful and then it opens up a browser looking for playonline viewer and tetra master.msi, when i click cancel I get build_100 error and im not sure what to do.

Sounds like it's not installed/updated correctly. Also, are you running ffxi-boot as admin?

yeah im running it in admin it worked at first then it just started asking for playonline, im on windows 8 if thats any help

Did you use the downloadable Vista installer for PlayOnline instead of the one on the disc? I don't use windows 8 to test on so if it is an issue specific to win8 I'm not sure if I can be much help.

yeah i followed all the normal guidelines and used the vista pol i think i prob going to install win 7 again

I would also suggest trying to rebreak your installation and updating it through POL with the update patch. I'm able to run the game fine on win8, running ashita as admin.
