I will be waiting for v3 then. I cannot use ffxi-boot as it does not launch the game right now. I'll keep mXI for the time being

If the code for ffxi-boot on a svn like DS ?

The code is not mine to give away. Anyway, v3 is available now and working for EU. It also fixes the char creation bug again.
