Attempt to Dual Box, and it's not working. Please help.

Okay, I'm on the same PC. When I'm using Ashita, and I log into one account. I load up Ashita again with the same server file, log into a different account, try logging in. I select my char and it says it cant find the FFXI server. On my second CMD prompt, it says in red lettering "Multiple instances of mXI detected, skipping port binding" if that means anything. I can log into both account/chars fine by themselves, but when I try to do both at the same time this happens for either one. Can someone please lend some assistance? I really want to Dual Box.

Apparently I can't even log into two different servers at the same time, if that helps. Same thing happens.

log in = on character select screen or character in game?

In-Game with one character, can't get past the character select screen --> load into world with the 2nd instance of Ashita.

I duo box, but not with Ashitax2. First I open ffxiboot, and decline on the start up screen auto log in. Then I open Ashita, and log one of my characters in there. Then I go back to ffxiboot log in screen and log second character in. I think you might have to have a second Ashita program folder installed, and access them separately, something like that. The way Ive been doing it has worked no prob, until I updated my client today, now I cant log in at all. Gotta figure that out now lol. Good luck and happy duo boxing.

Log in all the way with one copy so that you can see the character before attempting to log in with the second copy. The server can't keep your sessions straight.

The result is the same. I can't even try Ashita + FFXI boot, the results are the same. Some website told me to use some program called turtle SVC or something when I first tried, and I never understood it before finding Darkstar wiki. I may have a second ashita somehwere but I have no idea where it would be.

download ashita then put in your account info for your first char then copy the whole ashita folder to your desktop and then edit the account info for your 2nd char. make sure your up to date with client,
and ashita. then try logging in both char.
