Re-import the zone_settings table and try again.

Ok i got past that error. now i have a new one.

it gets to the download data screen and just stays there until it times out.

on the server it says "character name" has timed out due to lack of updates.

But i recheck the files through pol check files and it says there all fine.

what should i do next?

Ehh, you are the first person I've ever seen have this problem...did you follow the wiki setup guide carefully for both the server and client? Also by "lack of updates" it means that its not getting any packets, not that your files are out of date.

I suppose you could use wireshark, but really all that will do is tell you if the packets are being sent or not. The packets themselves are encrypted so you won't get any more useful info out of them with this approach.
