crash when i attack

Always when i attack a mob my game crash or better said when i get a skill up.
but this just happen on my private server not on the sinister skies server.

pls help me maybe i did something wrong.

ps. sry for my bad english :)

This is an issue with the newest update. Not sure if there is a patch for this or not. Anyone know?

same issue. client is crashing when attacking the mob. performed FFXI file check and there were no problems. there were no issues yesterday.

there are two options here

your client is out of date

or the server you're playing on is out of date

if you're 100% sure the server is up to date, then delete a file in your ffxi install and do another file check to make it get past "no problems were found"

Hi can it be any file from anywhere in the ffxi install directory. I have been told that the server is up to date but what would happen if it wasn't?

you client has the new update and the server is old. dark just updated the SVN to new update. just update the server.

sorry, i should have mentioned i'm playing on the DS Test server. I needed to update my client like you suggested. i used the instructions found on the following link:

Did this fix the crash on attack issue? I tried this method, and now when I boot up Ashita, I get a POL crash error as FFXI begins to open. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and I downloaded/installed the correct version of POL to use. Any suggestions?
