Deprecated Darkstar fourms

For some reason my game has started crashing often, resulting in a message box simply saying pol.exe crashed. I can end the process and that's it. This tends to happen when anyone around me levels up, and sometimes after battles in general. I recently changed computers from my smaller 720p tv to my 1080p downstairs tv. This seemed to start the issue, but in bringing it back up to the old one the issue persists. Any ideas?

It just happened again when I logged, stood there and watched a battle finish. I was immediately logged out, instantaneously. It kinda seems like an almost instant lag out.

crashing when someone levels up: my brother has this issue, it's probably GPU (he has a 670)

turning off weather and shadows fixed that, not sure if it'll help you

I'm going to try that, but it's weird because I have an Alienware x51 which is pretty powerful. You'd think I'd be able to run it on max settings, being such an old game.
