Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I haven't logged into a Dark Star server for a couple months. When I logged into the old school server a few days ago it would crash every time I attacked a monster. A GM told me to try patching my client. So I went over to tehkrizz.net and downloaded the "patch rollup" file and extracted it to C:\Program Files (x86)\PlayOnline\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XI. Afterwards I ran PlayOnline and did the check files thing for playonline and FFXI. It checked the files and said everything was OK. It didn't update them or anything. Now when I try to log onto a Dark Star server it says "accept failed: 10093."

Help Please

Your FFXI is out of date still.
Open the main FFXI folder, then go into a rom folder like ROM\0\ and find a dat such as 0.dat and delete it.
Then run Check Files again inside of POL for FFXI.
