Is there anything else I can use? MySQL is pretty much garbage and works only a small percent of the time. The rest of the time is nothing but headaches! If there is no other option does anyone know how to make the service stop from not starting every time I reboot machine, or just because it is bored? Nothing I do works. Error 1067 when trying to start the MySQL service in windows....

MariaDB is a drop-in replacement for MySQL, so you don't have to do anything different for it to work. Perhaps you will have better luck with it.
