Deprecated Darkstar fourms

Alright thanks for the tutorial on how to pull the the git from git http://github.com/DarkstarProject/darkstar.git/
I did git clone yesterday and all the new files got put into my dps folder. but when i update normally how do i go about doing this? i check the dps wiki and that didnt seem to really help. im also using tortoise git atm and thankyou for any help i get from here

i think i found out how to get the latest git updates/svn revisions but i can't figure out how to see the change logs like i used to with tortoise svn.

update: git pull
changelog i *think* is git log but i don't have tortoise git on this pc
