Deprecated Darkstar fourms

1) Where is the information for "Online" and "Away" stored at? Is it in the mysql database? If so, where at? I'd like my roster on my website to reflect their away status if I could.

2) My friends list isn't working on my server and I don't even really see anywhere in the mysql database for that kind of information to be stored. Is something not working on my server for friends list? Or is that more related to PlayOnline and that's why it doesn't work with DarkStar?

3) I gave all spells to my GM and with it came the Trust spells. When I try to summon my Trust friend, it crashes the entire game. These spells are listed as magic in the menu so I would assume they'd be found in the spell_list in the mysql database.. but I cannot find them. Ultimately, I want to remove them if I could, from both the GM as well as from the game. Where do I look?

1) if the away flag pops up when you hit away, it'll probably be a bit in nameflags
2) your second assumption is right: its more related to playonline and nobody has ever gotten around to making it work on darkstar
3) odd that it gave you spells that don't exist yet in the database (that's why you can't find them). afaik nobody has tried working on trust (and they shouldn't be), so it might be that DSP has a wrong ID and thinks it's a different spell - best thing to do is to find the spell ID of the trust spells in POL utils, and see if that number is used in spell_list

Yeah. I didn't understand why it gave me the trust spells. Could it have something to do with my client? I just recently updated that client completely. Before, I just had this GM as a WHM99. Then I changed it to a PLD99/WHM49 and when I did that, those trust spells showed up. I don't know! It's not a huge bother since no one else should have access to them. I just noticed that when I tried to use Ulmia, the DSGame Server crashed- the client didn't.

like i said, you'd have to check polutils ID number for it and see if that ID is used by something else in DSP - it shouldn't be giving it to you (nor crashing) if you don't have it
