Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I can connect to the server just fine, but when it launches XI I am faced with a dead black screen, no sound, and the boot loader is stuck at "Sending account id".

- Did a clean install up to WotG and cleared registry of any junk regarding old installation.
- Files have been checked and return no errors.
- Using newest Ashita v2 I could find on ffevo.
- C++ libraries and .NET framework are all up to date.
- Tried two different public servers.
- Ran as administrator.

I've been at it all day and I'm seriously at a loss now. Any suggestions?

check the login server log

Do you mean the .txt debug files it places in the 'logs' folder?

if you mean the server's log, I'm trying to connect to the official test server.

oh, i think that happens when your ashita config files resolution is wrong/not matching the clients or something along those lines
