Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I've got my client set up and working, but when I log in I get a stream of error messages:

[ADDON] (Distance) Failed to call event 'render', error: Unknown C++ exception
[ADDON] (TParty) Failed to call event 'render', error: Unknown C++ exception

I downloaded and installed the MSVC runtimes, but I suspect that I've missed a beat somewhere.
Any suggestions?
