Forever alone. The curse of the 3101.

I have had an on going 3101 connection error for players connecting to my server from outside my LAN. It only affects about 95% of all players trying to login. I have upgraded and downgraded numerous times. I have been running this server for over a year and the 3101's have just gotten worse over time.

I got a new modem hoping this would help, still 3101. I bypassed the router and hooked the modem directly up to the server, still 3101's. I upgraded to a Dell 2950 Bladeserver running Windows Server 2012 with 1TB on 15k RPM Sata drives in Raid0, 2 quad core xeon cpu's, 4GB of ram from a dual core AMD Phenom x2 with 4GB of ram running Windows Server 2008, still 3101's....

Firewall is off in windows, firewall is off on modem, still 3101's.... All 5 ports are open, 54230, 54231 TCP/UDP, 54001, 54002, still 3101's....

All clients have updated Ashita's and DAT files (or at least they say they do) still 3101's...

Clients have used every known bootloader and even Ashita v1 still 3101's....

Turned off all firewalls. Modem connected directly to the server. No firewall on the server. Open ports. Still 3101. Fucking stumped....

If anyone wants to try please create an account http://www.gilgamesh-reborn.com (no need to enter captcha just register and leave captcha blank) IP is 23.29.5.154 and if by some crazy chance you do get in please let me know either here on in the shoutbox on my servers forums http://www.gilgamesh-reborn.com/forums/index.php

Not sure what else to do but to offer a full DB dump to Dropbox and let players get their data and just walk away... At one point we had about 35-40 active players with no lag issues, no login issues, it was a fantastic and glorious time... I miss those days and so do the players on my server... If anyone has any ideas or if any admins here want access to my server either via TeamViewer or RDP to help troubleshoot, please let me know! Anything to get this working again.

I tried to create an account here: http://www.gilgamesh-reborn.com/index.php?go=join ; getting multiple php errors.

I tried to create 2 accounts on your lobby server, accounts seems created but getting authentication failures from the boot loader. I used an old account i remember i did months ago, doesn't get past the acquiring player data with error 3101. When was the last time you update the game server and does it match with the lobby version you have? If you updated very recently, there were changes in some tables such as char_stats, did you check for new table changes?

Should 54230 be open for both TCP & UDP?

Visionnet M405. No firewall is active, only firewalls installed are the built in ones for Windows and the modem both of which are off.

54230 is both TCP and UDP.

And the players have fully updated clients I'm assuming.

And you'll notice in that list, 54230 is also under the TCP list.

Yep, both of them, UDP and TCP.

From wiki:

TCP Ports:
54230
54231
54001
54002

UDP Port:
54230
