Deprecated Darkstar fourms

Logging in externaly to my server works fantastic, 23.29.5.154. Trying to connect locally results in a FFXI-3001 error. I have tried with and without --hairpin, Ashita1, Ashita2, mXi-boot, FFXI-boot, on Windows 7 and Linux, all result in 3001 error. All firewalls internally have been turned off. Everything is updated, DATs and Ashitas....

Any thoughts?

are you running a static IP address or dynamic?
if you go into command prompt and run the command ipconfig what is the IPv4 address listed?
