POL.EXE has stopped working

So whenever I try to log in, I get this error message. And i don't get it. It worked the night before, and suddenly the next day (maybe a 12 hour gap in between use), I got this.

have you tried it without ashita? (just runnin the pol.exe in ffxiboot with --server whatever)

and what server are you on?

Yes, it loads the boot loader, "Failed to connect to server". "Closing..."
