Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I recently had a server up and running on localhost however the other day when logging in i got the message "Failed to bind to listening socket" any ideas on how to fix this? and in case anyone asks i haven't changed it from localhost at all nor have i changed anything but i have redownloaded the server files after this error started

Retail updated June 24th. Windower updated soon after. Update your game files. There's a guide I believe Wasf wrote stickied around here.

I downloaded the files when following the guide on the wiki on the 25th so my files were up to date

Just to be clear and on the same page, you updated the final fantasy files through playonline?

I followed the manual update part of this guide

Everytime I update the game, I use this method: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2469

It wasn't wasf, it was Teo that wrote it lol.

If this doesn't work, then I don't know what else would cause this issue. You'd have to either wait for someone more knowledgeable to reply or go into the IRC and ask there.

I'll be honest i've never used a IRC before in fact until about a year or so ago i had never even heard of it so i'm still unsure about doing so so once i find out why Navicat is saying there's no memory avaiable to readd the .sql files i'll try that
