Deprecated Darkstar fourms

I don't get it. After creating username password and login. It always ask ("To start FFXI you have to log into your dark star account

My setup is like this
[SERVER]
SERVIP = 87.208.194.76
AUTOLOGIN = 1
USERNAME = username
PASSWORD = password
[CLIENT]
LANGUAGE = 1
## VERSION can be NA,EU or JP. This needs to reflect the POL version you have.
VERSION = NA
## MODE 0 = no windower, 1 = normal windower, 2 = windower light
WINDOWERMODE = 1
X_RES = 1024
Y_RES = 768

I had this problem too, found a different launcher that works. Was told that the current launchers on this site are very low priority for the devs and old.

Using the launcher "ffxi-boot" from the sinisterskies' forums. (Not Jescin's ffxi-boot, the other one)

I'm having this issue as well and the fix you posted didn't work for me. Any ideas?

Difference is for me, it wont even let me create a username or password and after about 30 seconds, it keeps repeating cannot connect to server! Please help me

were you able to connect before? Whoever is running that server may have a crashed-out lobby server if you can't connect to it.

then you didnt have the ip right.

or you tryed to connect yesterday when i was changing the new mobs

it was down for 5 min yesterday because i made some mobs real strong to level and a hnm to give a big challange for the modded food and weapons


i think you tryed when it was down for a sec
