Deprecated Darkstar fourms

After setting up the servers without any errors, when i created my first character on my server it gave me a POL 3101, but it created my character. After that, i relogged in and when i chose my character it stopped at downloading data. Eventually it gave me a POL 3001 no response from ffxi server.

Any ideas what could be doing this?

I am also experiencing the same issue.

I am using r2033 from svn.

I have dropped and recreated my database many times.

I have made sure that my zoneip is correct.

After selecting the city to start in on a new character, I get POL-3101 and then I am getting the following 'error' listed in the connect server window: I have checked everytime in the database prior to creating a character and there are no entries that this should conflict with.

I am at a loss of what is going on.

Clear all your char tables and try this update r2038

Looks like different users are experiencing different problems since char factor took place.

r2040 should be good now to handle both problems. Maybe we are all using different version of mysql.
