/shutdown in one location logon to another

First, I haven't submitted a bug report to bugzilla yet, still trying to figure out conditions.

Trying to see if anyone else has encountered something similar to this. This is on the DS official server.

I'll be exping (in tahrongi) when I'm done for the night, etc I /shutdown.
The next day when I log in, instead of being where I left off (at telecreg) I log in at the southern entrance of the zone (by sarutabaruta.)

While I can't say for certain, all my exp gained and such seems to still be there, just my location data was lost.

I'll keep fiddling around and see if I can't find a way to reproduce it consistantly. If I manage to find out a little more I'll submit the report.

-edit- wanted to add I had searched bugzilla beforehand and only found someone reporting logging in to their MH instead of area the left. Similar but not quite my problem.

-edit2- Finding the same bug happening on r0ing. Some information is getting retained, Char POS is not. Even when exping in one location for 30+mins before dc'ing. Does anyone know off hand what the servers default save time is?

Odd, can't say I've experienced this. Just a wild stab in the dark, but by chance were you overlapped with an npc or the crystal?

The database tables should be storing your position pretty actively, and especially when you /shutdown. Might be worth making sure that the triggers.sql is applied correctly. Again, total stab in the dark with that.

This has happened to me ONCE outside of a crash. But with a crash, I'd been in the zone about an hour, and it put me back at the entrance of Attohwa, instead of the south crevice where I was grinding.

This his been happening to me off and on for the last week or so. Had it happen once more last night on a DC, but still haven't been able to repeat it consistently.

If I ever lock anything down I'll bump this / make a bug report
