it's time to come in irc and ask whasf how to make crash dumps

Was just trying to help honestly, but I have too many machines to bother installing IRC on all of them. Its not a big deal for me, and if you tell me what you directly want I'd be happy to give it to you. Its running on a VPS running Server 2012. So I don't have direct access to the machine and see it when it happens, so if you want me to dig into the event log, I am guessing it crashed at the end of the first pic. But I can live with restarting it once in a while, just figured if its happening to me, its probably possibly happening to others.

eh, i don't remember how to make dumps (i only look at them and fix them..) and unfortunately, i can't get anything useful unless there's a dump

you can always use mibbit's web client for irc :p

You need the full version of Visual Studio (2010 or 2012)
You need to run the server inside VS
When it crashes, go to Debug / Save Dump As
Save the dump somewhere
Add the following files to a .zip file:

• The .dmp file you just created
• DSGame-server.exe
• DSGame-server.pdb
• log/map-server.log

Create an account/login to http://bugs.dspt.info
Create a bug report
Attach the .zip file

With that, we can usually determine what caused the crash and fix it if it's not due to a modification you made

Only modification I have is /yell as a worldwide command, but I asked the dude that was on gaming at the time and he wasn't using that. He didn't remember what he was doing though. lol But I will try Whasf, I can reinstall the full version tonight.
