How is this project going along?

Would this in theory work for reimporting the character tables after said tables get updated? Most of the times I can cut and paste but the char table refuses to take any data entry I put in so I end up having to have my friends create a new character then go thru and change all the char IDs to match. At some point when I have more time I'll figure out how to update those tables without losing the info but for now something like this would be awesome if it could be used that way

Did you end up finishing this? This would be useful for me. I run a private server on my dads computer because I don't have internet. This would be cool to have to run a little server at my house with no internet then transfer him back to the server on my dads I run when I have internet. I'd be willing to donate to it!

I kinda forgot about it. Maybe I'll work on it this weekend. i'll make it a sub-project on the main github site

haha cool! Until I get comcast the only way to really play XI is with running the server at my house, and then other people can't login to it. What I wanted to do was keep it online at my dads for everyone else and run one at my house for me and then transfer my character to that whenever I'm somewhere with internet. I can't seen to figure out how to transfer my character data without completely overwriting everything in the tables though. lol
