Yes, that's what i was asking, how to keep the changes made in blender? i tried to "bake" it but the no object error stops everything.

I think bake is mainly for textures not models. I'm not sure why you are unable to save in blender shouldn't matter if you have a object selected or not. hmm I'll get recast and see if I can help.

Thanks phase6. Come on irc if you need any help. If you two can help me export maps that'll really quicken up this process.

Can a link to a stable recast bin/exe be uploaded? the svn is locked (besides its made in visual studio 2009 :P )

That is the stable branch. You don't have to compile it yourself. Just run recastdemo.exe.

Hi lautan,
could it be possible to have some informations:

I exported like 15 times the same map over and over, but i still don't understand what it is supposed to look like.

Could we have a screenshot with how the working area ronfaure looks like in recast? i got either maps with floors or without floors in recast, maps with Y and Z axis inverted etc but i really don't get what must be the result to obtain.

Also, i'm never able to get negative coordinates in recastdemo no matter what i do.
Is recastdemo just a demo or a fully working version?

yes more information would really help, I might have a good idea for some other things with this as well (I'll have to test it before I propose it to the team)
Thanks in advance

Just remember we're only working on server-side stuff so if your suggestions are client-side then you're better off bringing them up with the folks at ffevo.

Recast will not read maps in -y up. With all maps I flipped the normals and y axis so its positive. I then exported and imported into recast. Exported maps straight from the dats will not load properly in recast. If you see walls on the wrong side you have to flip the normals.
