If anybody wants to help for soa mobs:
anims should be between 0 and 2048, anims 1932 is the same as 3980 and 10124 (2048*5 - 116 and 2048+1932) so it seems there's no other animations upper than 2048.

other than Death Prophet (not dead prophet) list looks great - I'll start looking at animations to see what I can come up with.

Keep up the good work gedads!


As a side note - I don't think SoA mantids can use most of these moves -- Death Prophet for example is used by Voidwatch NMs (see:Kaggen)

Thought i would drop a line to mention there is an issue with Countering mobs on final hit. You will counter like normal the whole fight but on the final hit if it is a counter it will cause a monster casting magic animation. I'm pretty sure its in the src file somewhere maybe luautils or something under reaction.

Looking to add these to the mob_skills table, but at this time I have found at least 3 different sets of skill numbers for them. How do I tell which skill number is correct? Here it's 2300-2305 and 1870. On another list I have seen them 2556-2561 and 2126, and on the documentation text file that came with the main server folder, they are 1864-1869. I see this post is a couple years old, so maybe things have changed since then, but which numbers should I add to make these skills happen?

one set for odin 75, one set for odin 99, etc..

The skill numbers don't change, there will be ones that appear to be duplicates for things like that, though

Ahhh, I see! I have noticed the duplicates for some skills. Maybe a stupid question, but how do you know which is which? :)

usually the order would be the order they came out in.. they usually split them like that if you expect the script to be different only, so it doesn't really matter which is which unless there's some sort of obvious hint (like if a higher level version had one new move, the new move would be with one set of the old moves, etc)
