IRC Crossover Implementation
IRC Crossover Implementation
Not sure if this is possible, just have seen it in other games and emulated games, the ability to have your games chat connect to an irc server so that IRC users can communicate with DSP players and vice versa.
Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
It's possible but not really something that is needed to mimic retail which is the intended purpose of the project.
Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
Understood, thank you. =)atom0s wrote:It's possible but not really something that is needed to mimic retail which is the intended purpose of the project.
Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
A (former?) developer wrote an extension for Ashita called AshitaIRC. It will allow you to do exactly this. http://www.ffevo.net/files/file/192-ash ... en-source/
Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
Thank you, I'll take a look at this and see if it's still working and suits my needs!deviltti wrote:A (former?) developer wrote an extension for Ashita called AshitaIRC. It will allow you to do exactly this. http://www.ffevo.net/files/file/192-ash ... en-source/
Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
Pretty sure he wants the server to connect to an IRC channel and dump all chat into the channel, not just having a client able to connect to one.deviltti wrote:A (former?) developer wrote an extension for Ashita called AshitaIRC. Re: IRC Crossover Implementation
In this case this will work for the few of us that will play on here, can configure my client at least to connect to my irc server, I would've liked to have the server connect to the server that way if I'm not on it and someone needs help they can get ahold of me that way, but this works. =) Thank you both.atom0s wrote:Pretty sure he wants the server to connect to an IRC channel and dump all chat into the channel, not just having a client able to connect to one.deviltti wrote:A (former?) developer wrote an extension for Ashita called AshitaIRC.
