I was poking in the dat files and noticed a zone named Feretory I tried to zone to it but the server complained about the zone being out of range and stuck me in mog house ret a room.

I saved the xml files I noticed 2 different zone tables in the dat files.
Area Names
Area Names (Alternate)

I noticed that the alternate names list does not have this zone. I am thinking that the alternate are for events ? and the main is the actual zone list.

I have full version from gamestop so if anyone needs some xml or anything just let me know.

I now it will be a while before you can incorporate this featre but though it was pretty cool

This is more than likely due to the zoneline packet handling the zoneline incorrectly. I had this issue with the Mog Garden changes I made yesterday. The addition based on where you zone from is wrong for newer zones, so it causes you to get thrown into a fake zone (the Jeuno Mog house with nothing in it).

the last zone used to be wexworth library (284), so the max zone was set to that. it's trivial to move that up, so you can edit it in zone.h if you want to go there (music will be wrong among other things since there's no db entry yet)

yeah now its called (Celennia Memorial Library) zone id is still the same though

the dat version really doesn't matter, the zoneid isn't gonna move

well, thank you for pointing that out I though I had the latest version lol I bought the game from gamestop with expansion included. I also do a check once a week for updates and it tells my my game is up to date lol

I guess that's why the npc names are messed up for me.

eh, the ol' "delete any 1 .dat and file check" should work fine
