Considering starting here, but I think most are aware of how hardcore old school was for a soloist. I'm not expecting much, but a roll call of anyone who plays here often would be nice. A duo partner would be fantastic, though if FoV is active and mutliboxing is allowed I would be just fine here.

As long as there are FoVs I won't play seriously on this server. I don't mind bumping up xp rates, but FoVs removes a lot of group play and the need to group to hit 75. I really like the idea of the server, but it's not old school with the books in it.

Its pretty hard to party with any regularity with a small population and bumping up exp to 3.5x is as hax as FoV imo. As is making speed 50. As much as I like faster characters. To each their own. But 3.5 xp, speed at 50, gil at 10x and all the other stuff hardly makes another server more classic than the Old school server. And the people who want a classic experience only suffer from the division of the population with multiple servers offering a nostalgic feel.

Old School Server is growing decently of late, which is great. Lots more partying/duoing etc. Eventually we will be able to remove FoV. But like most changes to bring the server back to "classic" feel we need less bugs and more people.
